Akin Olowookere: Tragedy struck Shooting Stars with demise of Assistant coach

Newly appointed assistant coach of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC), Akin Olowookere has passed on.

Coach Olowookere tragically collapsed and passed away in Ikenne while preparing the team for their game at ValueJet Pre Season tournament on Monday morning.

His untimely death marks a dark day for Shooting Stars SC and the wider Nigerian football community.

Before joining 3SC, Coach Olowookere served as Assistant Coach of Sunshine Stars FC.

Notably, he took charge as Interim Head Coach following the resignation of Austin Eguavoen in 2017.

He was highly respected for his dedication, professionalism, and contribution to the game.
