Akor Adams fires brace inspires Lillestrom comeback win over Valerenga

Nigeria forward, Akor Adams scored a brace in Lillestrøm Sportsklubb 4-3 win over Valerenga in the Norwegian Eliteserien encounter on Monday.

Lillestrøm produced a fascinating comeback to subdue Valerenga at the Intility Arena.

Valerenga took Lillestrøm to the cleaners in the first half with 3-1 lead thanks to strikes from Daniel Hakans, Henrik Bjordal and Seedy Jatta despite Thomas Lehne Olsen pulling one back for the visitors.

With the visitors reduced to 10, Adams inspired the hosts comeback when he pulled one back for Lillestrøm after the restart before Gjermund Asen leveled matters one minute from regulation time.

At the death, Adams scored deep inside additional time to complete an emphatic comeback win for Lillestrøm.

The result keeps Lillestrøm in second position just a point behind leaders and next opponents Bodø/Glimt on May 6.
