Akor Adams targets Montpellier victory against OGC Nice

Montpellier forward, Akor Adams is aiming for the three points at stake when they take on OGC Nice in the French Ligue 1.

The Nigeria forward said the game would be a great one which will be followed by a lot of fans back home.

He heaped praises on Terem Moffi on his contribution and efforts in France and felt it’s an inspiration for young players coming from behind.

Akor believes a victory over Nice would secure a good place on the Ligue 1 table after the loss to PSG.

“It’s going to be a great game, and I know many fans back in Nigeria will be tuned in to watch,” Akor was quoted by Score Nigeria.

“Moffi has done very well in Ligue 1, and he’s one of the top strikers here now. What he has achieved in France has inspired players like me coming behind.

“We (Montpellier) need to secure a victory to climb up the table. We now have to pick ourselves up after the loss at Parc des Princes to fight for our rightful place.”

Seated on the 13th position on the log, Montpellier have 11 points from ten matches and will face OGC Nice on Friday, November 10.
