Alex Iwobi positive of successful season with Fulham

Nigerian midfielder, Alex Iwobi is hoping for a successful season with the English Premier League side, Fulham this season. 

The Cottagers ended last season 13th on the EPL log and reached the semi finals of the Carabao Cup where they lost to eventual winner Liverpool. 

Iwobi who has since resumed with Fulham for the Preseason exercise is optimistic that the club will reach a new height in the coming season. 

“I can’t wait to get the new season kicked off again,” the Nigerian told The Standard. 

“With Fulham, we had a bit of an inconsistent season, but we know how good we are.

“When we were talking at the end of the season, we were thinking, we see the quality in the room, let’s try and push up the table. Everyone is eager and ready to go.”

Fulham kick start their new EPL season with a clash against Nottingham Forest at City Ground.
