Alex Oyowah, Rivers United’s attacking midfielder has predicted a top three finish for his in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.
The Port Harcourt side are placing 14th in the NPFL log accruing 31 points from 23 games with three outstanding games to be played.
Oyowah who has been one of the club’s best legs is optimistic Rivers United can finish in top three by putting pressure on the top teams.
“I think it will give us a hope, because if we keep the pressure on the other teams, maybe they will have an unlucky game or drop points somewhere,” Oyowah told Lodgexpress in an interview.

“We have to ensure we are ready to take advantage of our outstanding matches. We concentrate on our games, we go game-by-game and we have to win all of them to give ourselves a chance, then we will see what happens on the final day.”
Rivers United will be up against Sunshine Stars in their next NPFL game as they aim to move up on the table.
