Nigeria’s Alice Ogebe was among the scorers as Egyptian champions FC Masar thrashed Equatorial Guinea’s 15 de Agosto 5–0 in their second Group A fixture at the 2025 CAF Women’s Champions League in Cairo.

The Equatorial Guinean side were reduced to 10 players early in the match after Cecilia Akeng was sent off in the 16th minute at the Right to Dream Stadium.

The numerical advantage soon paid off as Yassmin Zezo opened the scoring for the hosts in the 41st minute, finishing off a clever assist from Ali Mahira.

Ogebe, who was booked in the 43rd minute, doubled the lead in the 56th minute with a composed finish inside the box following Hasnath Ubamba’s precise pass.

FC Masar continued to dominate, with Zezo grabbing her second of the match to make it 4–0 before Hala Moustafa sealed the emphatic win in stoppage time.

Former Rivers Angels and Edo Queens forward Ogebe was substituted in the 76th minute for Farah El Mahdy after an impressive display.

With the victory, FC Masar move top of Group A with four points from two games, ahead of their final group fixture against USFAS Bamako on November 15.
