Nigerian goalkeeper Amas Obasigie has completed a move to Tanzanian club Singida Big Stars from Ethiopian Premier League side, Fasil Ketema FC.
Obasogie made the switch after a brief four-month stint in Ethiopia, following his departure from Bendel Insurance.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper has signed a two-year contract with Singida Big Stars.
Obasogie was a key figure in Bendel Insurance’s triumph in the 2023 Nigeria Federation Cup, and his impressive performances last season saw him set a new Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) record, keeping 18 clean sheets.
Currently the third-choice goalkeeper for the Super Eagles, Obasogie will be looking to continue his development and showcase his talents in the Tanzanian league.
