Anam Imo bags assist as Pitea record third straight Damallsvenskan wins

Nigeria forward, Anam Imo had an assist during her Swedish Damallsvenskan side, Piteå’s 4-0 win against Djurgården on Thursday.
The former Rosengård forward assisted Tuva Skoog who scored the first goal of the encounter in the seventh minute.
Six minutes later, the hosts seek to consolidate on their nervy lead and were gifted the second thanks to Ronja Aronsson.
Skoog converted her second goal of the night in the 36th minute from Cecilia Edlund’s assist to give Stellan Karlsson’s side a comfortable lead at halftime.
After the interval, Edlund scored the fourth goal to ensure a 4-0 win for the title chasers.
The win was Piteå’s third in a row after victory over Kalamar and IK Uppsala Fotboll as Imo saw 78 minutes of action before she was replaced by Maja Green.
She has scored 11 goals and three assists from 15 league games this season, while her compatriots, Faith Michael was not dressed for the match.
After 16 league games, Piteå occupy the second position on the log with 36 points, two points behind BK Häcken which have an outstanding match.
Up next for Piteå is a league encounter with Hammarby IF on July 7.
