Anam Imo scores as FC Rosengard and Hammarby share spoils in Damallsvenskan clash

Nigeria forward Anam Imo was on the scoresheet as FC Rosengård and Hammarby played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in the Swedish OBOS Damallsvenskan on Tuesday.

Imo opened the scoring for Rosengård in the 28th minute, converting from an Anna Pobegaylo assist.

The goal was her first for Rosengard FC since returning to the club from Pitea.

Teammate Tilde Sørbo doubled the lead in the 40th minute through a pass from Hanna Andersson.

Hammarby, however, fought back immediately after the restart, with Vilde Hasund (47’) and Vivianna Koivisto (50’) restoring parity, assisted by Elsa Wangerheim and Asato Miyagawa respectively.

Super Falcons midfielder Halimatu Ayinde also featured for the full 90 minutes in the keenly contested encounter.

The result leaves both sides with a share of the points as the league title race continues to intensify.
