Halimatu Ayinde Scores As Häcken Hammer Gefle 11–0 In Svenska Cupen

Nigeria midfielder Halimatu Ayinde was on target as BK Häcken FF thrashed Gefle IF 11–0 in a one-sided Svenska Cupen encounter on Monday.

Paulina Nyström opened the scoring in the eighth minute before Thelma K. Palmqvist doubled the advantage two minutes later. Alva Selerud made it 3–0 in the 18th minute, and Malawian forward Faith Chinzimu added the fourth in the 27th minute.

Nesrin Akgün netted the fifth on the half-hour mark, while Felicia Schröder grabbed a first-half brace as Häcken ran riot before the break.

After the restart, Nyström and Chinzimu completed their braces, and Tilde Karlsson struck in the 83rd minute to make it 10–0.

Ayinde, who replaced Emma Östlund in the 74th minute, capped the emphatic performance with a goal in the 88th minute to complete the rout.

Häcken now sit second in their group with three points from one match, three points behind AIK Fotboll (women), who have played one game more.
