Nigeria international Anam Imo was on target for FC Rosengard but could not prevent the Swedish champions from bowing out of the 2025/26 UEFA Women’s Champions League, following a 3-2 defeat to Belgian side OH Leuven on Saturday.

Leuven took firm control in the first half with three unanswered goals.

Aurelie Reynders opened the scoring in the 10th minute before Jada Conijnenberg doubled the advantage just eight minutes later.

Conijnenberg struck again in the 35th minute, leaving Rosengard with a mountain to climb after the break.

The Swedish side rallied in the second half, as Emilia Larsson pulled one back on the hour mark.

Imo, who started the match, added a second in the 72nd minute to make it 3-2, but Rosengard could not find the equaliser.

The Nigerian forward was substituted in the 81st minute for Filippa Skostrom.

Compatriot Halimatu Ayinde, a 2024 WAFCON winner, featured for the full 90 minutes but was booked in stoppage time.

Despite Imo scoring in consecutive Champions League fixtures, the result means Rosengard’s continental campaign ends in Round Two.

The club will now turn its focus to the Champions League placement match and the ongoing Damallsvenskan, as they aim to secure qualification for next season’s competition.
