Anam Imo strike sends Pitea top of Swedish Damallsvenskan

Nigeria forward Anam Imo scored the winning goal as Pitea IF edged Hamarby IF 2-1 to move to the top of the Swedish Damallsvenskan table.
In-form Pitea has won its previous four games in a row ahead of Sunday’s Swedish league game.
Hammarby, on its part, fell to a 1-0 loss to Hacken after winning the previous four games.
Ellen Löfqvist scored the first goal of the Sunday clash in the 18th minute to give Stellan Karlsson’s side the lead.
Sara Kanutte Fornes equalised for Pablo Pinones Arce’s side in the 31st minute from Madelen Janogy’s assist.
Imo restored her side’s lead in the 51st minute as she converted from Katrina Guillou’s assist.
The goal was her sixth in the league this season as she saw 93 minutes of action before Emma Viklund replaced her.
Her compatriot and veteran Super Falcons defender Faith Michael played full 90 for Pitea.
Pitea with the win moved to the top of the table with 20 points, a point ahead of BK Hacken.
Pitea will next face Kalmar on May 21 in a league encounter at the Guldfågeln Arena, Kalmar.
