Asisat Oshoala scores as Al Hilal, Al Nassr March into Saudi Women’s Cup Semi-Finals

Al Hilal produced a devastating second-half performance to overwhelm Al Ahli 5–1 in the quarter-final second leg of the Saudi Women’s Cup, sealing a 6–3 aggregate victory and booking their place in the semi-finals.

After a competitive opening, Al Ahli briefly raised hopes when Naomie Kabakaba gave them the lead in the 9th minute. However, Al Hilal responded through Jessica Silva, who restored parity in the 20th minute to steady the visitors before the break.

The second half belonged entirely to Al Hilal. Moroccan star Ghizlane Chebbak sparked the onslaught with a superb strike in the 61st minute, setting the tone for a ruthless spell of attacking football. Fatimah Mansour extended the lead in the 69th minute before Nigerian superstar Asisat Oshoala added another just two minutes later with an excellent finish. Kheira Hamraoui completed the rout late on, scoring in the 87th minute to put the tie beyond doubt.

The emphatic victory underlined Al Hilal’s quality and attacking depth as they cruised into the last four.

Earlier in the competition, Al Nassr also secured their semi-final place in commanding fashion. A brace from Clara Luvanga ensured a comfortable win as Al Nassr eased past NEOM with a 5–0 aggregate triumph, confirming their status as strong contenders for the title.

With Al Hilal and Al Nassr safely through, the Saudi Women’s Cup semi-finals promise high-quality encounters as the race for silverware intensifies.
