Bala Abubakar bemoans Niger Tornadoes’ draw against ‘difficult’ Enugu Rangers

Bala Abubakar, Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes has expressed disapppointment following his side’s 0-0 draw with Enugu Rangers in a Nigeria Premier Football League match on Sunday.
Tornadoes who dominated large parts of the match failed to score for the first time in the new Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season.
The Ikon Allah Boys who have slipped to third on the Group B table have been in the scintillating form this campaign and were expected to register a victory against a struggling Rangers who are still trying to find their rhythm.
Abubakar who admitted it was tough task to break their opponent’s rear guard noted that his boys were able to keep their shape despite creating fewer chances.
He however assured that the team would improve before their subsequent matches.
“The game was a very tight one, our opponent made it difficult for us to play our usual style, you know the situation they are in, you will expect them to fight with everything.
“We did well and I’m pleased with the boys, but we could have convert one of our chances even though we couldn’t create more today.
“I’m sure we will be better than this in our next game, we will move the ball faster and have more chances to score,” Bala enthused.
Niger Tornadoes will be taking on Abia Warriors in Umuahia in their Matchday Five on Wednesday
