Bala Nikyu backs Super Falcons to reclaim Women’s Africa Cup of Nations

Former coach of Nigerian U17 girls national team, Bala Nikyu has expressed confidence in the qualities of squad in the current senior women national team to win the next Women African Cup of Nations, (WAFCON) in Morocco.
The Super Falcons are through to the next round of 2024 WAFCON qualifiers following late withdrawal of their opponents, Sao Tome and Principe and Nikyu insists that the present Super Falcons have the quality to claim glory.
“The Super Falcons have the best squad to pick the Women’s Nations Cup ticket,” Nikyu told media.
“We already have a complete team that can withstand any team in the World based on their performance at the Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
“Any coach that will handle the Super Falcons always a complete team to work with.”
Super Falcons are currently without a coach after the expiration of Randy Waldrum who led the team to Round of 16 of the last FIFA Women’s World Cup held in Australia and New Zealand.
