Bauchi FA congress impeach Vice Chairman, three others for insubordination

The Congress of the Bauchi State Football Association has passed a vote of no confidence on its vice chairman, Mallam Adamu Madaci and three other members of the board.
Rising from an emergency congress held on Wednesday and attended by all the congress members comprising of the 20 Local Football Councils, the congress resolved to impeach Mallam Madaci along with three members who are Kabiru Yusuf, Abdullahi Abdulaziz and Usman Abass Shehu.
According to communique released by the Congress, the Board members were accused of actions that were detrimental to the development of the game in the state.
“The congress acted in accordance with the provisions of Articles 14 of the statutes which gave the congress the power to pass a vote of no confidence on any member found engaging in activities retarding the progress of football in the state”.
Confirming the development to nigeriafootball.ng, Chairman of Bauchi State Football Association Patrick Pascal said the congress members accused the Board members of deliberately refusing to attend the activities of the FA, citing insubordination against the current FA leadership among other salient issues.
