Midfielder, Bernard Ovoke has completed a switch to Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) side, Bendel Insurance.
The move came a day after announcing his departure from Enyimba FC by mutual consent.
“New home! Let’s go 🤟🏽#magic7
Ada! Bendel,” Ovoke posted on his social media pages with a Bendel Insurance jersey.
The 27-year-old move ended his stint with the People’s Elephant after playing his last game during a 3-1 loss to Zamalek, which saw them bow out of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Ovoke has been a household name in the NPFL after playing for several teams in the league.
He has played for Bayelsa United and spent three seasons with Rivers United from 2016 to 2018.
The former Bayelsa United player spent three seasons with Plateau United before returning to Rivers United for the 2021/22 season.
He played for two clubs during the 2023/24 season starting with Kwara United before Enyimba.
