Boost for Nigeria as Frank Onyeka resumes training with Brentford U23

Nigeria forward, Frank Onyeka has recovered from injury as he played with Brentford reserve team.
The Super Eagle sustained the injury while playing for the national team in the 4-0 loss to Portugal in November last year which made him miss eight weeks of action for Brentford due to the injury.
The midfielder came on as a substitute for Brentford reserve team and scored in the match as he world his way to full fitness.
The 26-year-old has been ruled out of selection in Brentford next Premier League game against Crystal Palace at the Gtech Community stadium.
There’s no fixed date for his return from the sidelines yet but that hasn’t deterred Brentford from powering on in the EPL as they occupy the eighth position and had famous win over the big guns in the league.
Frank Thomas’s side have 34 points from 22 games and trail league leaders Manchester City with 17 points.
