Bukayo Saka names Premier League African Best Player of all Time

Bukayo Saka has named his best African players in the history of the Premier League.

The Arsenal star said Chelsea legend Didier Drogba and Manchester City’s Yaya Toure are the best African players to have traded their plight in the English top-flight league.

Toure is a three-time Premier League champion with Manchester City while his compatriot Didier Drogba won the league four times with Chelsea.

The Ivory Coast duo are regarded as the best African players the English top-flight has ever seen.

Born to Nigerian parents in England, the Arsenal academy graduate hailed from Ijebu Ode, Ogun State in Nigeria, but he represents his place of birth internationally on the football pitch.

When asked who he thought were the best African players to ever play in the Premier League, the 21-year-old winger said on Newscentral TV: “For me, I will say Yaya Toure and Didier Drogba. I’m always watching different players from different leagues and I’m always learning from them.  You will definitely see me improve a lot next season.”
