CAF announces schedule for Morocco 2025 Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has scheduled dates for the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) Qualifiers.

According to the football governing body in Africa, the Preliminary Round of the 2025 AFCON Qualifiers will take place from March 18 – 26, 2024.

This will be followed by the first and second-round matches scheduled for September 2 – 10, 2024.

The third and fourth rounds of games will take place from September 7 -15, 2024.

The last rounds of the qualifiers are scheduled for November 11 – 19, 2024.

The qualified nations for the tournament will be determined at the end of the final round of games in November 2024.

Morocco will host the 2025 AFCON after the AFCON 2023 which will take place in January and February 2024.

AFCON 2025 will take place in June as Morocco prepares to hot another African showpiece after hosting the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), CAF Women’s Champions League, 2023 CAF Awards, and will host the 2024 WAFCON.
