CAF C Licensing: NFF impressed with women’s coaches commitment

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) technical director, Augustine Eguavoen has commmeded the women’s football coaches undergoing the CAF C coaching licensing in Abuja.
30 women’s football coaches carefully selected across the country are in the second phase of the CAF C-License coaching course in Abuja which started in July.
The first phase of the coaching certification program was held between at July 15th – 25th with an additional two weeks internship learning curve at different top clubs.
Eguavoen said the participants have demonstrated discipline, commitment and dedication to the coaching certification program put together by the Nigeria football governing body.
“The second module started on Monday, and we are generally impressed by the discipline, dedication and commitment of the coaches to the entire programme,” Eguavoen was quoted by NFF.
Educators of the program is led by NFF head of education, Dr Terry Eguaoje, coach Ladan Bosso, Wemimo Mathew and Lawrence Ndaks.
The second phase of the three three modules coaching certification program will come to an end on Friday, August 16, and will be followed by another two weeks internship at top clubs.
The third phase is the examination for the coaches who will be taken to series of tests if what they have been taught and this will be by September nine to 19th in Abuja.
Notable names among the 30 selected women’s football coaches are former Super Falcons players, Precious Dede, Joy Jegede, Esther Michael, Maureen Eke.
Others are Otas Ogbonmwan, Vera Okolo, Cecilia Nku, Taiwo Ajobiewe, Gloria Ofoegbu, Amenze Aighewi and retired FIFA referee Folusho Ajayi.
