CAF CC: Al Masry lands in Nigeria for Enyimba’s clash

Al Masry SC of Egypt arrived in Uyo on Thursday, January 9, 2025, ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup group stage matchday five clash against Enyimba FC.

The Al Masry delegation landed safely at the Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo by 6:16pm.

The team has since checked into their choice hotel as they begin preparations for the crucial encounter billed for Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo.

The Egyptian side occupies the second position in Group D, winning five points, a point ahead of the Black Bulls and Enyimba.

The reverse fixture between the two sides ended 2-0 in favor of Al Masry in Egypt.

A win for Enyimba will brighten their chances of qualifying for the quarter-final ahead of their last group match against leaders Zamalek in Egypt.

The People’s Elephants have had an impressive record under new head coach Stanley Eguma.

They have won two of their three games under the former Rivers United gaffer.
