Goals from two Nigerians, Akporoh Rume and Francis Ayuba, lifted the Mozambican side, Black Bulls, to a 3-0 win over Enyimba FC in Matchday three of the 2024/2025 CAF Confederation Cup on Sunday.

Rume scored the first goal of the game from Martinho’s assist in the 16th minute at the Estadio do Zimopeto, Maputo.

In the 57th minute, Fidel Sousa doubled the lead for the host to compound People’s Elephants woes.

Ayuba sealed the win from Danilo Muze’s assist in the 64th minute.

The result extended Yemi Olanrewaju’s side’s unbeaten streak in all competitions to eight matches.

The team has drawn six games with two losses coming in the CAF Confederation Cup.

With a point after three games, Enyimba FC seats bottom of their continental group below Egyptian teams Al Masry and Zamalek, which will face off later on Sunday.

The Black Bulls also have four points after three games.

Up next for the Aba-based side is the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) clash with Nasarawa United at home on December 19, 2024.
