CAFCC: Brown Ideye urges Enyimba to shock Zamalek in Egypt

By Saheed Afolabi

Enyimba International forward, Brown Ideye, has called on his teammates to pull off a stunning victory against Egyptian giants Zamalek in their crucial CAF Confederation Cup clash.

The People’s Elephant are determined to secure a win in Egypt, while also hoping that the Black Bulls’ encounter with Al Masry ends in a draw to boost their qualification hopes.

Ideye emphasized that the match against Zamalek will not be taken lightly, as securing maximum points is the team’s top priority.

He also expressed optimism that the Egyptians might rest their key players now that they have already secured qualification for the next round.

“It’s a must-win match for us,” Ideye said, speaking to Daily Post.

“Zamalek are a good side, but we will go all out to get the maximum points.

“They have already qualified for the next round of the competition and may rest their top players.

“The chairman (Nwankwo Kanu) has spoken to us, and I believe it’s still possible to win this match.”

Enyimba will face Zamalek on Sunday, January 19, in a crucial showdown.
