CAFCC: Rivers United arrives Tunis ahead of Club Africain clash

Rivers United have arrived Tunis, capital of Tunisia in readiness of the Confederation Cup Matchday Four encounter against Club African on Wednesday.

The match is scheduled to take place at the Stade de Rades in Tunis at 8pm Nigerian time and Nigeria’s remaining representative on the continent will hope to avoid defeat to keep their qualification hopes alive.

The contingent of Rivers United landed in Tunis at about 11am (Nigerian time) through Egypt Air and were warmly received by officials of Nigerian Embassy in Tunisia.

The Pride of Rivers will hope to complete the double over their host haven won the reverse fixture by a lone in Uyo about a week ago.

They will need to avoid defeat of any kind to keep hold of their positions that will stand them a better chance to reaching the quarterfinals.
