NPFL: Fatai Osho resigns as Technical Adviser of Akwa United

Fatai Osho has left his role as technical adviser of Akwa United, following a run of miserable spells in the Nigeria Premier Football League this season.

Osho joined the Promise Keepers after completing his time as Head Coach of Rivers United. Since his arrival, Akwa United have struggled under his watch, managing only three victories in 14 games.

Sunday’s 1-0 away defeat to Heartland in Owerri was his last game in charge of Akwa United.

The Uyo based club are expected to issue an official statement regarding Osho’s departure and is expected to announce a potential replacement later today.

They are placed 17th in the NPFL log after 14 games, a pointer to a terrible start to the season and worry for the club’s faithful with relegation staring at them.
