CAFCL: Enyimba captain Olorunleke calls for Aba fans’ support for Ahli Benghazi visit

Captain of Enyimba FC, Ojo Olorunleke has called on the fans of the club to troop out in numbers and support the club as they take on Ahli Benghazi in the second leg, first round qualifying duel of CAF Champions League on Sunday.
The reigning Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL champions lost 4-3 in the first leg played in Tripoli last Sunday in a match described as hostile atmosphere for the visitors.
The match billed for 3pm at their stadium in Aba on Sunday will see the People’s Elephants required an outright victory of any margin while Ahli will be hoping the avoid defeat to secure passage to next round.
The Super Eagles goalkeeper says that the team would be in top shape, physically and mentally to achieve their aim of making it to the next round of the CAF Champions League.
Enyimba returns to Aba, where they have won two games on the continent under Finidi George and the Kogi-born shotstopper is confident that the fans in Aba will replicate the support the Libyan side got in Benghazi.
“All we need is support, togetherness and unity. We are not giving up. We are going to win and qualify that is for sure. I believe in every one of us,” he assured.
“Before the next game, we would have corrected all the mistakes and would have rested well. We are going to come out good in the second leg on Sunday.
“Our fans will do the same. If we can get that support, nothing will stop us. Individually we are going to sit up. All we need is support.”
