Championship: Cardiff City sweat over Jamilu Collins’ fitness for Southampton clash

Cardiff City faces uncertainty over the fitness of Nigerian defender Jamilu Collins ahead of their Sky Bet Championship clash against Southampton on Saturday, due to a groin injury.
The Super Eagles’ left back played the entire duration for the capital club in their 3-1 defeat to Millwall last weekend and didn’t show any sign of weakness.
Cardiff manager, Erol Bulut said the club will be missing some players for the clash including Collins who has played 36 times for the club this campaign with one goal and four assists to his credits.
“This weekend, we will not have a few players because of sickness or strains,” Bulut told the clubs official website.
“Jamilu Collins might also not be with us with a groin problem.”
Cardiff are currently on 11th position with 59 points from 43 matches.
