Charity Adule: Nigeria forward joins Spanish topflight outfit Alhama CF

Spanish top-flight Liga F newcomers, Alhama CF has completed the signing of Nigeria forward, Charity Ogbenyealu Adule.
The 29-year-old forward joined the team from another Spanish side, Eibar on a free transfer and Adule spent two seasons with Eibar after she was unveiled on September 19, 2019, ahead of the 2019/2020 season.
Before her move to Eibar, Adule was with Kazakhstan Champions, BIIK Kazygurt from 2014 to 2018.
The forward started her career with Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Rivers Angels at the age of 14 and played for the Port Harcourt-based side from 2006 to 2011.
From Rivers Angels, Adule joined another NWFL Premiership side, Bayelsa Queens in 2011 where she scored over 50 goals in 40 matches attracting the interest of BIIK Kazygurt.
Alhama coach, Randri Garcia during a press conference that followed the new signing described Adule as a player who can add a lot of quality to the team.
“She is a player who comes free, who has surprised us technically, and is going to give us verticality, claw, and goals,” Garcia told the club TV.
Her move have increased Super Falcon players plying their trade in Spanish topflight like Asisat Oshoala at Barcelona, Rita Chikwelu and Onome Ebi at Levante Las Planas Rasheed Ajibade at Atletico Madrid, Toni Payne at Sevilla, and Osinachi Ohale at Deportivo Alaves, Charity Adule at Eibar and Monday Gift at UDG Tenerife.
Alhama with three points from ten games occupy the bottom of the Spanish Liga F log. Adule will hope to help her new team avoid the drop when the club faces Villareal on December 4, 2022.
