Nigeria forward, Charity Reuben scored one of the goals as Al Ahly defeated NBE 2-0 to maintain their perfect start to the Egypt Women’s Premier League.

Mia Darden opened the scoring for the travelers to put them in an advantageous position.

Reuben doubled the lead to seal victory for Al Ahly with her 10th goal of the league season.

She has also provided five assists in the league for her new team in Egypt.

It has been a fairy-tale debut season for Reuben in the Egyptian women’s premier league.

The former Bayelsa Queens and BIIK Kazurgut player has brought her experience from the Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership, UEFA Women’s Champions League (UWCL), and Nigeria national team at age grade level to play.

Al Ahly top the log with a maximum of 30 points from 10 games opening up a huge gap ahead of the chasing park.

Wadi Degla, which is in second place, has 22 points.
