Chiamaka Nnadozie suffers injury in Paris FC draw with Bordeaux

Super Falcons goalkeeper, Chiamaka Nnadozie will be out of action for the next few weeks following hand injury she suffered in her team’s 1-1 draw with Paris FC in French Feminine Division One encounter on Friday.
Nnadozie was replaced just one minute into the second half of the match after she was injured on the wrist, at the time, the scoreline remained 0-0.
French goalkeeper, Camille Pechaman however, replaced the Nigerian in the 46th minute as Melissa Gomes who came on in the 56th minute as Amanda replacement breached the French woman just 15 minutes after she replaced the Nigerian goal tender to give the visitors the shock lead.
Paris, however fought back but left it late before getting an equaliser. Versatile midfielder, Thiney got the equalizing goal in the 81st minute and salvage a draw for the visitors at the Stade Charlety, Paris.
With the draw, Paris FC extended their unbeaten run to seven matches this season and will next seek to return to winning ways when they meet Guingamp on November 19.
Nnadozie will be hoping to recover in time to keep her side’s Champions League qualification hopes alive and also be part of Super Falcons build up to the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia/New Zealand.
