Chidinma Okeke at the double as Club America zoom into Liga MX Playoffs semis

Nigeria’s Chidinma Okeke scored two goals to help Club America to a 5-0 thrashing of Juarez in the return leg of Mexican Liga MX Women’s Playoffs semifinal on Sunday.

Okeke broke the deadlock in the 25th minute at the Estadio Aztec, Mexico City.

Four minutes later, Nicolette Andrea Hernandez Sippel doubled the advantage for the host.

Montserrat Saldivar made it 3-0 in the 42nd minute of play.

Former FC Robo Queens player, Okeke scored her second goal to increase Club America’s lead to four.

Saldivar also scored her second goal in the 58th minute to seal the win.

Club America, with the results, secured a place in the Playoffs semifinals after a 7-2 aggregate win.

Okeke was replaced by Jocelyn Orejel in the 46th minute.

The 24-year-old has scored four goals for Club America in 25 league games.
