Chidozie Awaziem: Nigeria defender up for Boavista Player of the Month award

Nigerian defender, Chidozie Awaziem has been recognized by his Portuguese club, Boavista as he has been nominated for the Player of the Month award.

The Super Eagles defender who was on loan with Croatian side, Hajduk Split last season has being in sparkling form in the current Primeira Liga campaign.

Boavista have not been doing well in the last few games, having failed to record victory in their last two games.

The recognition is for players that did excellently well for the club in the month of October.

Awaziem will be facing stiff competitions with two other players in midfielder Sebastian Perez and striker Robert Bozenik for the top month prize.

Boavista are sixth on the Primeira Liga table with 15 points after nine games.
