Chinwendu Ihezuo off the mark with a debut goal for Pachuca

Nigeria forward, Chinwendu Ihezuo opened her goal account for Pachuca as she scored in her new club’s 5-0 triumph over Mazatlan FC in the Mexican Liga MX women encounter on Saturday.
The Nigeria international had recently joined Pachuca from Mexican rivals, Monterrey and wasted no time in hittign the ground running with her new club.
Veronica Corral scored the opening goal of the encounter in the 36th minute.
Ihezuo doubled the lead for the visitors in the 45th minute giving her side a comfortable half-time lead.
Ana Beccerra’s own goal in the 70th minute increased the lead to three.
Two more goals from Daniela Flores and Coral’s second goal of the game sealed a 5-0 win.
Ihezuo saw the 78th minute of action before she was replaced by Alice Soto.
Her new team currently tops the log with three points after the first game of the league campaign.
