Colombia name roster for Nigeria showdown ahead of inaugural Revelation Cup

Colombia has announced its squad for the inaugural Revelation Cup, where they will battle Nigeria from February 15 to 21.
The South Americans will be competing in the four-nation tournament, alongside the Super Falcons, hosts Mexico and Costa Rica and Coach Nelson Abadia has summoned 14 foreign-based players in his 23-team squad.
Nine of the players on the roster are based in Colombia, including rising star of the last FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup and 2022 Copa America Femenina, Linda Caicedo headlining the roster.
Colombia will face Nigeria on February 18 after its first match with Costa Rica on February 15. The South American side will end the tourney with an encounter against Mexico on February 21.
Nine-time African Champions will kick off its campaign at the Revelation Cup against Mexico before facing Colombia and Costa Rica respectively.
The teams except the hosts Mexico are using the tourney in Leon to step up their preparation for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
