Daniel Wotlai: Abia Warriors focused on securing crucial win at Gombe United

Abia Warriors midfielder, Daniel Wotlai, has emphasized the team’s determination to secure a victory in their upcoming Matchday 36 encounter against Gombe United in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).
The match is set to take place at the Pantanmi Stadium on Wednesday and Wotlai highlighted the crucial nature of this match for Abia Warriors, who are striving to ensure their place in the top flight by earning the necessary points.
“We are going into the game with Gombe United with a different mentality,” Wotlai told the club’s media.
“I know the quality we have as a team, and I am sure we can get the job done in Gombe. We plan on creating and taking our chances in the game so as to move up on the table.”
Wotlai also sought to reassure the supporters, urging them to have faith in the team’s ability to secure the needed points. “I’m assuring the supporters to believe in us that we will get the points in the game and also come back and record victory in our next home game to be safe on the log.”
Abia Warriors currently sit just two points above the drop zone with 45 points from 35 games, making their remaining fixtures critical for their survival in the NPFL.
