Afrobeats singer, David Adeleke, -popularly known as Davido-, has replied to the former president of the Nigeria Football Federation, Amaju Pinnick after the football administrator accused him of refusing to perform at an event in Warri, Delta State, despite being paid an excess of $94,600.
Pinnick bemoaned the fact that Davido had disregarded the city of Warri by going silent after being paid such a sizable money for his performance but refused to show up.
It appears that Davido had already stated that he would attend the concert but was not among the performers.
The evening featured performances by a variety of performers, including AY Makun, Pheelz, Spyro, Fireboy DML, Destalker, and Pheelz.
Davido has now taken to social media in what seems to be a shade at Pinnick in a series of messages via his official X handle.
“Throwing stones but u dey live for glass house.”
In another tweet, Davido bragged that no one could stop him from performing anywhere in the country as he assured his fans in Warri of a performance soon.
“Nobody can stop me from performing anywhere in Nigeria… Warri I will see you soon,” he wrote.
He also posted a picture of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, logo with the caption; “Make I no talk.”
