Deborah Abiodun gets top rating in Drawer Soccer Freshman Top-100 midseason list

Nigeria midfielder, Deborah Abiodun has been named to the annual Top Drawer Soccer Women’s National Top 100, mid-season list.
The University of Pittsburgh midfielder alongside her teammate, Lainie Fuchs made the list which was announced this week.
Abiodun landed at No. 16 while defender Lainie Fuchs came in at No. 28 on the ranking list.
Abiodun’s ranking is the highest midseason placement in program history.
So far this season, Abiodun has started in nine games of the 12 she has played, totaling 595 minutes.
The midfielder has collected a total of 11 points after posting four goals and three assists thus far.
In the matchup against city rival Duquesne, Abiodun secured two goals within 12 minutes.
Currently, Abiodun is ranked fourth in the ACC for shot accuracy (.536).
She joined the University team on a scholarship program from Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) Premiership side, Rivers Angels with the team coach who doubled as Super Falcons coach, Randy Waldrum playing a pivotal role in her switch.
