By Oluwadamilola Olaleye

Galatasaray manager Okan Buruk has hailed the signing of Victor Osimhen as a “dream transfer,” describing the Nigerian striker’s arrival as one of the club’s most remarkable achievements in recent years.

Speaking to Turkish Football, Buruk praised the club’s management for successfully completing what he called an “incredible signing” during the summer window, noting that Osimhen has already transformed Galatasaray’s attacking identity.

Buruk said the 26-year-old forward joined at the perfect time, bringing the quality, mentality, and leadership the team had long sought.

“We’re happy to have Osimhen with us — it was a dream for us in the summer,” Buruk said.

“We need to thank the people who made this dream come true. Our president Dursun Özbek and Abdullah Kavukcu played an important role, and we must appreciate the entire management for their effort.”

The Turkish manager added that Osimhen’s arrival has redefined Galatasaray’s approach in tight contests, with his goals and work ethic proving decisive on several occasions.

“He brings a winning mentality every single day,” Buruk continued. “You can see how much he loves to fight for the team.”

Since joining Galatasaray, Osimhen has emerged as the driving force of the club’s offense, inspiring teammates and supporters alike with his intensity, consistency, and match-winning performances.
