Dream Team Coaches Ask for Unpaid Allowances, Plead For Settlement

The coach Imama Amapakabo-led Technical crew of the Nationwide U23, The Dream Group are on their knees praying and pleading with the Minister of Youth and Sports activities Improvement, Sunday Dare to contemplate paying them their allowances.
Virtually three years after their failed bid to clinch the ticket to the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Video games, the workforce officers have been but to be remunerated.
The workforce crashed out of the U23 Africa Championship in Cairo, Egypt and couldn’t seize one of many tickets to characterize Africa within the Tokyo Video games. Their barren outing with South Africa on the Al Salam stadium was the straw that marred their participation within the Tokyo Video games.
The technical crew’s efforts throughout their preparation for and participation within the continental championship is but to be recognised, and are pleading that permit their efforts not be in useless.
Among the many workforce officers have been Chief coach, Imama Amapakabo; assistant coach, Kennedy Boboye; second assistant coach, Fidelis Ilechukwu, goalkeeper’s coach, Ettah Egbe, workforce co-ordinator, Dahiru Sadi, and Abdulsalam Kayode, the physiotherapist. Others embrace Suleiman Ohida, the workforce physician; Sharif Abdallah, the media officer; Tayo Egbeleye, the workforce secretary and Chile, the curator.
