Elkanemi Warriors unveil 15 new players for 2023/24 Nigeria National League season

Elkanemi Warriors have confirmed the signing of 15 new players for the 2023/2024 Nigeria National League, (NNL)
season.

The unveiling ceremony that took place at the club’s secretariat in Maiduguri on Friday saw the new players handed their signed contract papers and assigned jerseys.

Notable among the new arrivals are Sani Sheu, Usman Abbas, Abine George, Samaila Bello, Bright Evaghera, Usman Ahmed, Gimba Ajiji, Shuaibu Garba, Mohammed Dantala.

Others are Alabi Sulaiman, Chisom, Ibrahim Grema, Abu Ali, Mohammed Bulama and Absulmumin Ali.

The Desert Scorpions suffered relegation from the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL abridged season after an unimpressive performance.

Coach Aliyu Zubairu has been given a mandate of returning the team back to the top flight at the end of the coming NNL season.
