Rangers International have secured the services of three new players in a bid to have more depth in the team and to meet up with the set target in the 2022/2023 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
The players are Austin Osayande, Leonard Ugochukwu, and Chinecherem Ugwueze who are expected to bring more qualities to the Flying Antelopes.
Austin Osayande, an attacking midfielder joined Rangers from Dakkada FC while veteran league player Ugochukwu joined from Akwa United.
Young defensive midfielder, Chinecherem completed the new arrivals at the 2016 league champions from Nigeria National League side, NNL side, Giant Brillars FC of Enugu.
The three have already started training with the Enugu side and are in high spirits to contribute their quotas toward helping the club achieve its set target for the season.
Administrative Secretary of the club, Barrister Ferdinand Ugwuarua announced that the club is delighted to have the players just as he expect them to make Rangers more formidable at the unveiling ceremony on Monday in Enugu.
“It is a thing of joy for us to have the three players join our ranks to help us achieve our set target for the season.
“With the approval of the coaching crew, we went for the players and it is our hope and belief they are coming with the needed skills and determination to help us achieve what we set out initially to achieve at the start of the season.”
Rangers started the abridged NPFL season on a rather not too impressive note picking up nine points from its first eight matches scoring four goals while leaking in six goals.
