EPL: Nuno Santos rules out Ola Aina for Everton clash

Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espirito Santo has confirmed that Nigerian defender Ola Aina will miss the club’s upcoming Premier League clash against Everton.

Aina sustained an ankle sprain during Forest’s match against Manchester United two weeks ago and is still undergoing recovery.

Speaking ahead of the weekend fixture, Santos emphasized the club’s cautious approach to Aina’s return.

“For this game, no, unfortunately not. For the next one, we hope. It is going to be assessed day by day,” he said.

“He spends I don’t know how many hours at the training ground receiving treatment, so we are trying to have him back as soon as possible,” Santos added during a press conference.

Aina’s absence is a blow to Forest as they continue their battle for Champions League ticket.
