EPL: “The season is not done” – Alex Iwobi craves happy ending with Fulham

Nigeria midfielder Alex Iwobi has urged his Fulham teammates to refocus and give their all in order to end the English Premier League season on a positive note.

Iwobi’s call to action follows a disappointing 3-1 home loss to Everton on Sunday at Craven Cottage, where Fulham squandered a first-half lead.

The Toffees came from behind to score three second-half goals, leaving Fulham’s European football hopes for next season in jeopardy.

Iwobi expressed his disappointment over the defeat but stressed the need for his team to stay focused for the remaining games of the season.

“Of course, it was disappointing,” he said, as quoted on the club’s official website.

“We felt we controlled the first half, and then when they scored the equalizer, it probably boosted them for the second half.

“The season’s not done – let’s see what we can do,” Iwobi added, rallying his teammates to push for a strong finish to the campaign.
