Europa League: Victor Boniface brace secures point for Union Saint Gilloise in Berlin

Victor Boniface netted a brace in Union Saint-Gilloise 3-3 draw with Union Berlin in the UEFA Europa League encounter on Thursday.
The Nigeria forward continued his impressive form in the European second tier club competition, inspiring his Belgian side to a crucial away point against their German opponents in Berlin.
With a moment of individual magic, Boniface rattled the back of the net from 35 yards to give Union Saint Gilloise the lead in the 30th minute of the game.
Union Berlin soon woke up from their slumber as Josip Juranovic leveled the score line just before the halftime whistle.
The visitors restored their lead through Yorbe Vertessen but it was short-lived as Josip Juranovic equalized through his penalty miss in the game.
Boniface showed his clinical instinct as he gave Saint Gilloise the lead for the third time in the match as he finished off a good move through an assist from Bart Nieuwkoop.
Union Berlin had to turn to their substitute bench to get an equalizer as substitute Sven Michel netted at the tail end of the game to level the score line, ensuring both teams shared the spoils in Germany.
Boniface took his tally in the Europa League to five goals in seven matches this season.
