Everton manager Sean Dyche dispels Alex Iwobi exit rumours

Everton manager, Sean Dyche, has revealed that Nigerian midfielder, Alex Iwobi will not be leaving Goodison Park anytime soon.

Latest rumors from Turkey have it that the Super Eagles’ attacking player is unhappy at Everton and would fancy a move to Fenerbache in the summer.

Dyche who joined Everton in January on a rescue mission has however dismissed the rumor adding that the 26 year old Iwobi is enjoying life and his game at Everton.

Iwobi is in his final 18 months with the Toffees and he’s more focused on helping the club beat the drop at the end of ongoing Premier League season as the club are quietly working on new deals that will see the former Arsenal tied to Everton for long time.

Dyche in an interview with Joe Thomas said “Well, I’ve seen him today, and he seems to be quite happy at the moment, it is unlikely, I would suggest.”

Iwobi had played in almost all Everton’s Premier League matches this campaign with a remarkable contribution from midfield which has seen score one goal and provided six assists.
