Former Nigeria left back, Ifeanyi Udeze has narrated how he cleared himself from rape allegation in Greece.
The former West Bromwich Albion defender advised players making their switch to Europe to be careful of their relationship with ladies and he opened up on how a lady approached him while at the Greek side, PAOK Saloniki.
“It was after a big match that we had won, and so to celebrate the win, I invited all my teammates to the house,” Udeze said on his programs, No Hold Barred on Brila FM.
“Deep into the party, a lady who happened to be the daughter of a friend and one of the biggest supporters of the team made a move on me.
“I politely declined but she got frustrated, cried, and left. The next day, her father, who was also the local Police Chief, called me to say that the lady in question, her daughter, claimed I had raped her.
“I was shocked, but also calm because I knew I could provide evidence of everything that transpired.
“I showed the police chief recordings from the CCTV cameras in my house. By the time we were done watching, he apologized to me.”
Udeze also recalled his ordeal in England when a promiscuous friend of his, who he wanted to help with his travel documents, almost put him in a similar situation as Benjamin Mendy.
