Exodus weakens Remo Stars’ foes ahead of CAF Champions League playoffs

Moroccan club, AS FAR will be heading to the CAF Champions League qualifying clash against Remo Stars with a depleted team following shocking exit of four of key players.
The Rabat based club are due to face Remo Stars in the first qualifying round with the first leg fixed between 16th and 18th of August in Rabat.
They will play the tie without four notables including Hamza Igama, Sifeddine Chlaghmou, Ismail Bahkti and Mohamed Kebdani have departed the clubs for foreign adventures.
Hamza Igama has joined Scottish Premier Soccer League, PSL side, Rangers while Siffedine Chlaghmou moved to Spanish side Mallorca.
The duo of Ismail Bahkti and Mohamed Kebdani moved to Austrian club, Red Bull Salzburg and French side, AJ Auxerre.
The second leg of the encounter is slated between 23rd and 25th of August in Ikenne.
ASFAR qualified for the 2024/2025 Champions League after finishing second in the Moroccan Botola League last season.
