FIFA new rules stop Cyriel Dessers’ move to Club Brugge

Nigeria and Cremonese striker, Cyriel Dessers’ January ambition to return to Belgian Jupiler League have hit the rock.
Dessers who has been linked with a possible transfer to Club Brugge this month as he’s still difficult to hit form in the Serie A.
A top source in Belgium claimed that Dessers’ representatives held talks with Brugge last December for a possible January deal for the 28-year-old striker.
Despite consenting to the move, it may not see the light of the day as the new FIFA transfer rules forbids a player to represent three different club in a season.
Dessers started the Jupiler League with KRC Gent where he scored three goals before joining the struggling Serie A side.
The Nigerian has so far scored three goals in 16 league appearances for Cremonese. He will have to wait till the summer before making the move as the new rules have shut him out of the January move.
