FIFA U20 World Cup: Jude Sunday aiming to help Nigeria silence Italy

Nigeria U20 forward, Jude Sunday is targeting a win against Italy in their next fixture at the FIFA U20 World Cup.

Sunday was impressive in the Flying Eagles 2-1 opening triumph against Dominican Republic last Sunday and will be looking forward to playing a part in the team’s contest against the European giants.

The tricky winger highlighted the importance of defeating theAzzurrini and promised to work towards a win against Italians.

“I am ready for the match. We need to win the match, it is very important to us. I will try my possible best to score and maybe assist,” Sunday told NFF TV.

Sunday had a goal chalked off for offside against Dominican Republic and the influential midfielder is ready for the Italians battle.
